With its large front air intakes and “Y”-shaped DRLs that divide the headlight from the front bumper, the new Revuelto maintains the Lamborghini design DNA. The vehicle also has wedge-shaped creases on the bonnet, and the design theme continues at the back with twin exhausts tucked in between ‘Y’-shaped taillights.
The new Lamborghini Revuelto’s 6.5-liter V12 engine is mated to a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery cell that is tucked away in the central transmission tunnel. With the aid of a brand-new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Revuelto’s engine generates a whopping 1,001 bhp when used collectively.
The company claims that the new V12 engine weighs 218kg, which is 17kg less than the Aventador, and that Lamborghini has also managed to reduce weight in the powertrain area. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 mph in 2.5 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 350 mph thanks to three electric motors, one for each of the front wheels and one for the rear.
The carbon fiber fuselage of the forthcoming vehicle is said to be 10% lighter than the Aventador’s. The car’s front frame is also said to be 20% lighter than the model it replaces, while the torsional stiffness has been raised by 25%.
When it comes to the interiors, once through the scissor doors, a carbon-fiber center profile carries on the ‘Y’ design motif. The passenger receives a 9.1-inch monitor, while the center touchscreen measures 8.4 inches in height. The instrument cluster is located on a 12.3-inch third monitor.
The number of buttons in the cabin has decreased as a result of the advent of digital displays, and the majority of crucial controls, like turn indicators, have been relocated to the steering wheel. A first for the automaker, the Lamborghini Revuelto also has ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure, and traffic alerts.
