Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy made a big announcement on Tuesday that Visakhapatnam, commonly known as Vizag, will become the state’s new capital. “I am here to invite you to Visakhapatnam, which will be our capital city. I would like to see it,” CM Reddy said at a meeting of the International Diplomatic Alliance in Delhi.

In addition, CM Reddy claimed that Vizag would serve as headquarters as well as the Governor’s base. However, the parliament will run from Amaravati.

He spoke at the launch program of the Global Investor Summit on Tuesday in Visakhapatnam, New Delhi, in March.

“I am here to invite you to Visakhapatnam, which will be our capital, and in the coming months he will be moving to Vizag. , I would like you and your colleagues to take a look.”

Mr. Reddy’s claims are against the backdrop of a lawsuit pending in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the case on Tuesday. Meanwhile, extreme criminal cases have not reached the Supreme Court Division Chamber where they were listed.
