After a teacher at a private school in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, is said to have cut youngsters’ hair without first obtaining permission from the parents of those students, the parents of those students have filed a complaint against the school administration.
The incident was brought to the attention of the public on Saturday after a number of parents went to the office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) and lodged a complaint against the administration of the school.
DIOS According to what Arun Dubey informed ANI, “Some students of St. Mira’s School in Moradabad and their families had come with a complaint that the school has been cutting the children’s hair without the agreement of the parents.”
What did the parents state?
The parents claimed that the hair of approximately 50 to 60 of their children’s students had been cut without their permission. ANI was told by a concerned parent that “we have sought justice for our children and have made a written complaint to DIOS.”
“This was the day when my child was supposed to have a blood test, but he was running a high temperature instead. But, the management of the school made him stand for the entirety of the school day and cut his hair without obtaining our permission “He grumbled about it.
A kid who was enrolled in the ninth class remarked, “I couldn’t stop crying, and I asked our teacher to please stop, but she wouldn’t listen. My hair, which was already relatively short, was cut much shorter.”
The denied allegations
However, the Director of the School, Akshi Prakash, denied the charges made by the parents. “This allegation is nothing more than an obvious attempt to smear the reputation of our school. Every year, the parents are asked to sign a declaration of school discipline, and disciplinary action is only conducted after three separate warnings have been issued “she stated.
