Has IPL brought misfortune for Adani?

This time there will also be a Women’s IPL like the Men’s IPL. BCCI earned Rs 4669 crores from the auction of the teams which is a huge amount. In this auction Mumbai Indians Delhi Capital and Royal Challengers Bangalore bought the team.  Whose value is 912.99cr, 810cr,  901 crore  respectively. 

The same Gautam Adani, who was keen to buy his team in Men’s IPL, fulfilled his desire by buying the team of Ahmedabad franchise for 1289 crores and proved to be the most expensive team of this women’s IPL.  On the other hand, the Lucknow team was named after a company named Kapri Global.

The first season of Women’s IPL was much better than Men’s IPL, which earned the BCCI a lot of profit. Earlier this month, the BCCI sold the media rights of the Women’s Premier League to Viacom18 for Rs 951 crore, getting a Rs 7.09 crore per match value for five years. Without a ball being bowled, the WPL has become the second biggest T20 league in the world after the IPL. 

Previous misfortunes

Gautam Adani is not the only person who has lost money after investing anything in IPL.  If we talk about Men’s IPL, then from the beginning the DLF company which was the sponsor of the title of IPL, went into loss and got ruined completely.

Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Company was doing very well before buying the team in IPL.  But as soon as he bought the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, after 2 years he suffered losses in Kingfisher and decided to betray the country and fled to other countries by taking loans from banks.

Let’s talk now Rajasthan Royals owner Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra always remain in headlines and when it comes to spot-fixing and match-fixing in the year 2015, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings  There were two teams.  Jeene Do was banned for 2 years, but in the meantime Raj Kundra’s name got very bad and he could not get the franchise again.
