Bharat jodo yatra : Might be a key to revive congress party.

Bharat joda yatra is a political and social movement derived by senior Indian Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with aim to unite the voices of people of India against injustice , fight for unemployment , communalism , inflation , hatred and political concentration.The yatra is initiated on 7 September from Kanyakumari and will pass through 12 States , 52 districts and will conclude in Jammu and Kashmir (Srinagar) – spanning a distance of nearly 3,500 km over the course of 150 days.

In recent times congress party seems to be very lost in everything , it is neither able to wins elections nor it able to unite the party members , number of congressmen chosen to hitch their wagon to the winning horse of the BJP . Bharat jodo yatra seems to be ray of hope for India ‘s grand old party .

Participants in the Bharat Jodo Yatra are discovering an India that deeply values peace and harmony, an experience at odds with the narrative projected by purveyors of divisive politics and their cheerleaders and troll armies.Most of the participants — whether designated Yatri or Congress functionary — say they feel emboldened by the support for the “unity project” that ordinary Indians have expressed during the march so far.

Formerly it is said that Bharat jodo yatra did not to able influence the part of northern India as it is majorly ruled by BJP but recently Rahul Gandhi addressing the media near kurukshetra said that ‘Some said we won’t be getting a response from people for the yatra in BJP-ruled states and in the Hindi belt but on contrary, we got a good response in these states & it’s only getting improved,‘ from this it is clear that Bharat jodo yatra slightly win the trust or support of people of India .from the very starting point Rahul Gandhi addressed the media and local people wherever they go which is very beneficial to increased the goodwill of the Congress party. 

The yatra is witnessing great turnout and grand welcome while entering each state in its route. In this Yatra, Rahul Gandhi interacted with children and was seen tying shoelaces and walking with party members.Over the 108 days, the Yatra has covered 49 districts in nine states and one Union Territory – Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.

However the impact of ‘bharat jodo’ is not only limited to12 States and two union territories through which the yatra passes , several state-level Yatras have already been announced, and the upcoming ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan’ will take the message of Bharat Jodo to the doorstep of every Indian. 

The Bharat Jodo Yatra was  resume its second leg of the journey from Delhi on January 3 after covering nine states and a Union Territory in its first leg and will end it with the hoisting of the national flag by Rahul Gandhi in Srinagar on January 30.
