Karnataka legislative assembly elections held on 10th of May 2023 meanwhile 224 representatives with 58545 polling stations.according to election commission 73.19 percent of voting turned out from entire Karnataka,it was the major turn out from South India.
Election result was announced on 14th of may and Congress party won with 135 seats,this was a major victory for Congress after 38 years.

All the EVM and VVPAT machines were properly secured and brought to the counting places following all the safety measures.section 144 was implemented all over Karnataka to perform vote counting peacefully.
Strictly alcohol is s prohibited on vote counting day from 6 am to next day 5 am.
Mount Carmel college as a center of vote counting for Krishnaraja puram,hebbal, Puli kesi nagar and CV Raman nagar were under the control of DCP’s east and Central region.
Anekal, bangaluru south,mahadevapura,
Byatarayanapura and yelhanka was under DCP’S crime region.
Padmanabanagar,btm layout,Jaya nagar,vijayanagar,bommanahalli and basavanagudi maintained by DCP’S south east.
By holding akash international school as a vote counting centre,horpet,devanahalli,doddaballapura and nelamangala are maintained by North East VVIP zone.
