When coach Rahul Dravid was asked about the T20 cricket future of Kohli and Rohit, he told that the T20 World Cup is over and the ODI World Cup and World Test Championship are also coming, so in view of that, we have prepared players for the workload management of the players.  Both players are playing better and will be given chance in future as well.  And when a reporter asked about the split captaincy, Dravid replied with a smile and said, “I have no idea about it, nor do I think so.”

And finally when it came to the wicket-keeper batsman, the coach praised Mahendra Singh Dhoni and said that after Dhoni we have not got a good wicket-keeper but the youngster is trying and the one who performs well will stay.  He will get a chance in the team.

Records of Virat and Rohit in T20Is

Rohit Sharma has 4 centuries in T20 cricket and he is also the fastest batsman to score a century in T20 cricket.  And he has played the maximum number of matches for India and has been included in all the T20 World Cup teams, although his current form is going bad, but he is the uncrowned king of T20 cricket.

Virat Kohli is currently the highest run scorer in the world in T20 cricket and Virat Kohli averages 50+ that is why he is counted among the greatest batsmen.  Not only in T20 cricket, Virat Kohli has 50+ average in all three formats which no other batsman has in the world. Last 2-3 years were tough for him but Kohli came back with century in T20 cricket and beat his critics.

Conclusion

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both are great batsmen and they have done a lot for Team India, both have returned to form after struggling from bad form.  This year India has to play ODI world cup which is being in India only, that’s why it is very good thing for both the players to come in form.
