Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI promotes the Mumbai edition from March 9 to 12

 Lakme Fashion Week in cooperation with the Fashion Design Council of India( FDCI), is set to kick start its first edition of 2023 at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

The beauty and fashion circus will begin with Sustainable Fashion Day on March 9 and will crown with the Lakme Grand Finale on March 12, 2023. 

The Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI platform in keeping with its tradition will offer two show areas (the Runway and the Shop) for contrivers to bring their designs to life along with the Central Avenue which will play host to colourful exchanges.

The FDCI Showroom aims to attract buyers from across the globe and help design gifts to explore business avenues and openings, the FDCI, Lakme, and Rise Worldwide said in a common press release.   Reliance Jewels and Dyson will for the first- time present exhibits as they unite with Monisha Jaising and Arpita Mehta independently.  

Sustainable Fashion Day (SFD) durations include the Circular Design Challenge ( CDC) in cooperation with the United Nations in India that will celebrate five times since its launch and show three of its alumni comprising Chamar, Doodlage Made From Waste, and Iro Iro.

SFD will conclude with the KVIC Khadi Show with a donation by Suket Dhir, Divyam Mehta, Shruti Sancheti, and the Centre of Excellence for Khadi( CoEK).   Some of the other leading developer exhibits include Abhishek Sharma, Antar- Agni, Anushree Reddy, Punit Balana, Rina Dhaka, Ranna Gill, Ritika Mirchandani, and Siddhartha Tytler.  

Other famed and commanding developer brands from across the country will be showcasing their collections at the event including Deme, Dhruv Vaish, Eshaa Amiin, Kittenish by Aakriti, Itrh, Jajaabor, Limerick By Abirr N’ Nanki, Line Outline By Deepit Chugh, Nirmooha, Sahil Aneja, Saisha, Sameer Madan, Shahin Mannan, Tanieya Khanuja, Tisastudio, and Varun Nidhika.
