RM gets candid in an interview before all BTS members leave for the army.
In an interview, BTS leader RM opened up to fans about the band’s feelings before their army enlistment. In South Korea, it is compulsory for all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 – 35 to conscript into the army and the members of the world’s biggest boy band are no exception.
RM was accompanied by other band members – Suga, J Hope, Taehyung, and Jungkook. All members shared sweet farewell messages for their fans on their respective Instagram accounts.
RM talked about how Jin, the eldest band member and the first to get conscripted, had a lot on his mind and didn’t speak much. Furthermore, he reassured fans that Jin would share his experience and return safely.
He also stated that an old chapter of their lives has ended and a new chapter is beginning.
All other members are set to follow Jin in the South Korean Army in the next 18 months. BTS is set to reunite back in 2025.
