Rohit Sharma made his international debut for India in 2007.  Rohit Sharma’s journey from 2007 to 2013 was full of struggle.However, while playing IPL in 2009, Rohit Sharma also received the Emerging Player of the Season award from Deccan Chargers and Rohit Sharma also took a hat-trick in this season, due to which his name came into the limelight.  But still struggling with poor form, Sharma was not included in the 2011 World Cup squad, which left him very disappointed.Luck turned once again and in 2013, Mahendra Singh Dhoni asked Rohit Sharma to open in ODI cricket.  Rohit accepted it. Rohit Sharma was already expert in making big scores and when he started performing consistently, Virat Kohli was made captain after Mahendra Singh Dhoni left the captaincy and Rohit Sharma was made vice-captain in white ball cricket. In the absence of Virat Kohli in the 2018 Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma got a chance to captain and there Rohit Sharma won the Asia Cup proving his captaincy and by then he had won 3 IPL trophies. 2019 is called Rohit Sharma’s year in cricket history.  Rohit Sharma made the biggest record by scoring five centuries in this year’s World Cup.  Along with this, he got his name written in the books by scoring 10 centuries in this whole year. After leaving the T20 captaincy of Virat Kohli in the year 2021, Rohit Sharma was made the captain of T20 and then slowly he was made the captain of ODI cricket as well.  Immediately after that Virat Kohli gave up the Test captaincy and then Rohit Sharma became the captain of all the three formats.  Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was struggling with his poor batting form, due to which the critics were tolling him a lot and saying that Rohit Sharma, you leave the captaincy. 2022 T20 World Cup was very bad for Rohit Sharma due to which Rohit was being tolled a lot, but as soon as he came in ODI cricket in 2023, he got a chance to hit a century in his second series.  Rohit Sharma gave a befitting reply to his critics after he scored a brilliant 101 in the third match against New Zealand.

Father of Daddy hundreds

Rohit Sharma’s name has 150+ scores  7 times.  That is why he is also called Father of Daddy Hundred. Rohit Sharma has scored three double centuries which only he has been able to do in the world.He scored the first double century of 209 against Australia, the second double century of 264 against Sri Lanka and 208 against Sri Lanka.

Conclusion

Rohit Sharma is a great player and there is no one better than him in this entire world.Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for most ODI centuries in the world.  At the same number, the name of Virat Kohli comes at number two and at number three comes the name of Rohit Sharma, who equaled Ricky Ponting’s record by scoring his thirtieth century.
