Amid the Holi festival, the Indian Railways decides to run 196 special trains, considering the rush and convenience of the passengers.
According to an official, some unique trains have been planned to connect various destinations across the country, for instance, Delhi-Patna, Gorakhpur-Mumbai, Kolkata-Puri, and Guwahati-Ranchi. Under the Railway Protection Force (RPF), supervision will be provided to manage the entry of passengers and ensure their safety at major stations. Crowd-controlling measures are likely to be followed by RPF.
Holi is a festival of colours and joy, and Indian Railway is proving it by giving their passengers the surprise of a 196 special train.
Indian Railway is also set to launch its first “Bharat Gaurav Train” in the northeast, which will offer passengers a tour of the region, including places like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, and Meghalaya.
Ministry of Railways is improving its function and giving its passengers a sense of relief on the Holi festival and the northeast public along with it IRCTC has tied up with payment gateways Paytm and Razorpay to provide EMI payment options to their customers.
