Introduction:
Ponniyin Selvan is Pan Indian movie directed by mani ratnam,and this is based on historical fiction novel ponniyin Selvan by kalki.
The lead cast including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai,Trisha,karthi,jayam Ravi, Aishwarya lekshmi, prakash raj, sobhita dhulipala,Vikram Prabhu,parthiban,sarath Kumar,lal and rehman.
The music was composed by A.R Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varma.
Basically ponniyin Selvan was divided into two parts,the part one of ponniyin Selvan was released on 30th September 2022 and the 2nd part of ponniyin Selvan is going to hit the theaters on 28th April 2023.

Ponniyin Selvan:
In the first part the story begins with the character called vallavaraiyan vandiyadevan who brings the message on behalf of Aditya karikalan as well as plots the information to kundavai.
Vallavaraiyan vandiyadevan encounters a person called nambi,before reaching kadambur.nambi is the person who leads vandiyadevan with ideas.
Vallavarayan vandiyadevan comes to know that Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar and his ministers had a meeting to throne Aditya karikalan’s uncle Madhurantakan Chola.

When vallavaraiyan vandiyadevan met chola princess kundavai,he shared the message that he collected about the descent of Adithya karikalan and thronging of Madhurantaka chola.
Kundavai made the message to her father sundara chola,he decided to arrest ponniyin Selvan and bring him to his place,but he wanted to send the ministers to arrest ponniyin Selvan.
Poonkulazhi a seashore woman and vallavaraiyan vandiyadevan both of them tries to save ponniyin selvan, meanwhile Adithya karikalan and kundavai hears this news,they both heads thanjavur to destroy nandini.
But a nandini look alike woman called oomai Rani swims into the sea to save ponniyin selvan.
