Tennis fans all over the world are aware of Ace tennis player Sania Mirza who hails from India. She has carved a niche for herself in the tennis world and had brought laurels to India. She had become an icon in India. But she married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and settled in Pakistan. All things looked fine but it appears that cracks have developed in her married life.

 Before her marriage, she is to live in Hyderabad, India. She was a craze for Hyderabadis. Her pictures used to appear on the front page of newspapers and tabloids. She was the hot topic of discussion in many conversations and gatherings. Persona grata everywhere she went.

She won so many awards and honors in India & outside like Padmasri in 2006, Arjuna award in 2004, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2015, Padma Bhushan in 2016, etc. Her highest ratings were No 27 in singles and World No.1 in doubles. She also won Global Icon of the Year at the 2016 NRI of the Year awards, in New Delhi. No need to say, she was the cynosure of everybody’s eyes.

Sania Mirza Now

Her relations with Shoab were strained several times and might head for divorce. The main reason for the divorce seems to be Shoaib cheating on Sania. The media seems to suggest that Pak actress Ayesha Omar is supposed to be the reason behind the divorce but she stoutly denies it. She also says that she has no intentions to marry Shoaib in the future.

According to reliable sources, Sania and Shoaib are going their separate ways. A few legal issues and commitments are to be sorted out: as Sania and Shoaib have commitments to legal shows. Together they have signed a couple of contracts and they have to fulfill them right now before official confirmation from both sides. Both of them will co-parent their child Izhaan Mirza-Malik.
