Immigrants reply Lower-income – Developed countries offer better pay to sectors like health, research, IT, etc are the reasons to leave India . Income is one of the main triggers of emigration from India.

Job Prospects & Higher Salary- One of the main reasons students study abroad is employment & job prospects. Students after receiving Higher Education in Abroad are valued more than students studying in domestic universities. International qualifications help them to receive higher salaries and more job students also say that the standard of living high compared to India. According to a recently held survey the rate of immigration is drastically increasing year by year.

IS WESTERN MEDIA INFLUENCING YOUNG MINDS?

The effect of western culture is greatly seen in our customs, tradition, social and moral behavior, our love and respect for others. These days a person loves to live in freedom, he does not want to bind themselves in Indian customs and traditions.Children of these generations are addictive to some western series,movies and they think being liberty is the only freedom.

HOW IT IS CHANGING MINDS OF YOUNGSTERS?

The western culture is very infuential. It is also very liberal and speaks most of being yourself and achieving what you want, just to be happy. It encourages individualism. The young generation would rather do what’s easy to achieve rather than going through the process of sacrifice and discipline. The western culture just let them do that.

HOW ARE PARENTS RESPONSIBLE TO IT?

What is even more interesting is the substantial differences of opinion between Indian and other parents on the goals they have set for their children. Being happy in life was the ultimate goal of parents in more than a dozen countries ranging from 56% in Indonesia, 58% in Hong Kong, 60% in UAE to 77% in UK, 78% in Canada and 86% in France. However, only 49% of the Indian parents rated happiness in life as one of the three most important goals.

The biggest problem with Indian parents is that they are not able to adapt their mind with the dynamically changing world.
