Palghar force Case Teenage Girl Gang- raped by 8 Men for Over 12 Hours, indicted Arrested.
Eight men have been arrested for allegedly gang- ravishing a teenage girl for over 12 hours in Palghar quarter of Maharashtra.
According to police, the incident happened on 16th Dec 2022 and 17th dec 2022, Friday and Saturday night, when the victim, aged 16, had gone to meet one of the accused who was known to her.
The accused allegedly took her to an isolated spot and took turns forcing her. The victim has been transferred for medical examination.
The police have reserved the indicted under applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused have been remanded to judicial guardianship. The police have launched a hunt for the other indicted people who are on the run.

According to police, the 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang- ravished for further than 12 hours by the eight indicted, all of whom are from her village.
The incident took place on 16th dec, Friday night.
All of them were arrested on Wednesday, 21st Dec 2022. Police said the girl had gone to a nearby ranch with her family when the accused kidnapped her.
They also took her to an isolated place where they allegedly gang- ravished her for further than 12 hours. The girl was set up in an unconscious state by locals and rushed to a sanitarium.
She’s presently undergoing treatment and is said to be in a stable condition. The police have registered a case under colorful sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Further disquisition is underway. Grounded on her complaint, the police arrested the eight indicted in the early hours of Sunday and registered a case against them under colorful Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections,
Including 376(D) (gang- rape), 366(A) (procuration of minor girl), 341(unlawful restraint), 342(unlawful confinement) and 342(unlawful confinement) and 323(freely causing hurt), and sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he said Police detained this minor girl from the Haranwadi area.
The victim’s friend invited her to an unrestricted bungalow in Paneri in the Mahim area. All this happened then.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault.
